Learn & Play at The Oak
The Oak Complex has partnered with Henrico Library Services, Thrive Birth to Five, and VPM to host Learn & Play at The Oak on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 11am-12pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for children birth to six years and their caregiver to gain social and emotional skills, learn about the BASICS, and the importance of play. Snacks and toys will be provided.
Liaisons from HCPS Early Learning Preschool will also be onsite to offer support with completion of the pre-screen online application and/or reviewing required documents.

Care Solace
When families need help, knowing where to turn can be overwhelming. In an effort to ease this burden, HCPS has partnered with Care Solace, a comprehensive care-coordination service. With a network of more than 425,000 providers, Care Solace is a free service that helps connect people with the right mental health resources. This session will explain how you and your family can take full advantage of the valuable services Care Solace offers.
Bridge Builders Academy programs take place using Microsoft Teams. No registration is required, participation is free and you can take part without creating a Teams account.
If you are accessing the session from a mobile device, you may be prompted to download the Microsoft Teams app, but you can participate using the “desktop version” of a mobile browser instead.
If you are participating using a Mac or PC, you can download the Teams app or join using a browser.
For details and more information about how to join workshops and discussions, view instructions for joining a meeting with Microsoft Teams. Only the first 350 virtual attendees will be able to participate and comment during the discussion. The session will also be recorded and posted online for additional viewing.

Hazel Health Information Session
Reliable therapy and counseling services can be difficult to find as well as expensive. The Henrico CARES initiative is offering all HCPS high school students free access to telehealth therapy through Hazel Health. The nation’s leading K-12 telehealth provider, Hazel believes that all children deserve to be seen, heard and cared for. This Bridge Builders Academy session will focus on what Hazel teletherapy looks like in action and how your family can get started.
